Information

All our dogs have all been DNA tested for CEA, CL, TNS, Raines and other testable diseases and will never develop these diseases. Parents are hip & elbow scored before mating and eye exams. Pups will come vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed fortnightly, BAER hearing tested  6 weeks free pet insurance through Petcover, puppy pack, life time breeder support and registered with DogsNSW on the limited register.  Puppies go to their new homes after 8 weeks, no exceptions. Price for pet homes as at May 2023 is $2500, subject to change without notice.

We only breed when we are looking for a show prospect to retain for ourselves, therefore we only produce occasional litters.  Our process is different to most breeders, as our puppies are not allocated to families until 8 weeks old.  This allows time to assess the puppies personalities to ensure the best fit for your family & lifestyle. Sometimes a puppies chilled out personality, colour, markings and eye colours don't match what we require in the show ring, so we may be able to match those pups earlier.  Bringing a puppy home is a 12+ year commitment and it is not a quick shopping trip, it takes a lot of time & patience to be a puppy owner, so taking the extra 8 weeks to match your puppy to you is time well invested. Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture Protocols.

What's in the Puppy Pack?
The Puppy Pack typically consists of an information booklet, Vet Bed, a 3kg bag Black Hawk dog food, a discount voucher for Black Hawk dog food, 6 weeks free puppy insurance,  Fenpral Worming tablets for the next 2 worming, Melanie Newman Shampoo and Conditioner, nail clippers, toys and a canvas tote bag.  Please keep in mind products in the puppy packs are subject to change if unavailable.  We provide life time support for our families and have a catch up group on Facebook, which is also a great source of information!

Show homes are sometimes available at my discretion and must be discussed openly at time of application, terms & conditions apply. P.O.A.

Further Information

Pet Puppies

Most of our puppies will be registered on the ANKC limited register unless we deem them of quality to meet the Main Register.  Limited Register means that you can not show or breed your puppy. You can still compete in dogs sports such as obedience, agility and herding. Anyone purchasing a Pet Puppy is expected to desex their puppy around 14 months of age.

Show Puppies

Some of our puppies will be registered on the ANKC on main register. This is available at our discretion to those who hold a valid ANKC kennel prefix or are conformation showing competitively, ensuring that anyone who takes on a puppy under these terms has completed a test of knowledge in regards to the responsibilities of breeding and has the best interests of the dog and breed at heart.

Please make sure that you are well aware of the requirements of a Border Collie before you purchase a puppy from any breeder. Too many Border Collies end up being abandoned because their owners were not aware of the necessary mental and physical stimulation required to keep a Border Collie happy and non-destructive. Border Collies are considered one of the most intelligent dog breeds and while this is an excellent quality, it also comes with a lot of responsibility for their owners. Without the appropriate training, stimulation and socialization your puppy might become destructive, disobedient and impossible to handle, which is not enjoyable for anyone, least of all your puppy. We strongly believe that active companionship far outweighs acres of land or suburban yards devoid of human company.
